 Different banks offer student credit cards with varying benefits and features. Here are a few examples of banks that offer student credit cards and some of the benefits associated with their cards:


Discover it® Student Cash Back: Discover Bank offers a student credit card that provides cashback rewards on purchases. The card offers 5% cash back in rotating categories each quarter, up to the quarterly maximum, and 1% cash back on all other purchases. Discover also provides a feature called Good Grades Reward, where students can earn a $20 statement credit each school year their GPA is 3.0 or higher for up to five years.


Bank of America® Cash Rewards Credit Card for Students: Bank of America offers a student credit card that allows you to earn cashback rewards on your purchases. You can earn 3% cash back in a category of your choice (such as gas, online shopping, dining, travel, drug stores, or home improvement/furnishings) and 2% cash back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs (up to a certain limit). You also earn 1% cash back on all other purchases.


Citi Rewards+℠ Student Card: Citi offers a student credit card that allows you to earn rewards points on your purchases. This card offers 2 ThankYou® Points per $1 spent at supermarkets and gas stations for the first $6,000 per year and 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases. Citi also offers a feature called Round Up, where every purchase is rounded up to the nearest 10 points, providing an additional point-earning opportunity.


Capital One Journey® Student Rewards: Capital One offers a student credit card that provides cashback rewards. With this card, you can earn 1% cash back on all purchases. Additionally, if you make your payments on time, you can earn a higher cashback rate of 1.25% for that month.
